Leopard Shark Adventure

Seals, sea lions, and sea birds abound!  We can design the tour to include a stroll throughout the spectacular range of coastline along La Jolla Cove, or spend less time walking and more time observing these fascinating animals up close.  You can even add your observations to our citizen science database!

You never know what you'll find at low tide!  This is a true treasure hunt to discover the incredibly resilient and colorful organisms living on and amongst the rocky coast.  The timing of this tour is tide dependent, but there are several fantastic locations to explore.

These beautiful sharks are summertime residents of shallow waters in La Jolla and even though they only eat small fish and crustaceans it's always a thrill to be close to them!  Learn about current research on these sharks and jump in the water with them if you dare!
